Lil Uzi Vert is undoubtedly a captivating rapper. And he seems to be happy with his new spiked hair. However, Tech N9ne warns him that it won’t be in his best interests in the long term.

By donning a liberty spikes hairstyle earlier this year, the Eternal Atake hitmaker further embraced his punk roots and appeared to put an end to his iconic neon-hued dreadlocks. For his show at Rolling Loud Miami last week, Uzi colored the tips of his hair red, intensifying his already stunning new look.

Tech N9ne, who once attracted attention for donning red-tipped liberty spikes, has given a kind warning to Lil Uzi Vert not to play around too much with his priceless hair lest he end up totally bald like himself. On Monday, Strange Music MC posted a photo of himself with spiky hair alongside a shot of his now-hairless head.

Tech N9ne provided more details about the harm his red spikes inflicted on his natural hair in a 2018 Facebook post. He also talked about the difficulties they brought into his daily life.

“I could hardly get into a car with my tall spiked hair! It was so sharp, I could put your fuckin eye out! All my beautiful Choctaw Native, Creole and Ethiopian hair was damaged by All the Ice gel, extra strength Spritz and continuous dye! Be warned New rappers! Lol Lol Lol.”
