Mike Tyson is unquestionably one of the most legendary boxers in the sport’s history. Tyson is renowned for his great power and commanding presence, but it appears Mike has slid off the grid at the moment. Mike has recently been seen walking with a cane.
While in New York City this week, Mike Tyson wasn’t moving around as well and needed a cane to move around. However, the boxing star is not injured and is only experiencing some minor wear-and-tear issues, according to TMZ Sports.
When fans and photographers saw Iron Mike on Tuesday walking slowly from a car to his hotel room, they raised some questions. The 56-year-old was supported by a walking stick and appeared to be limping severely.
According to those close to Mike, he hasn’t received any new wounds and is still struggling with an existing back issue. They continued by saying that it is simply a risk of being an athlete like Mike.
“He’s dealing with a sciatica flare-up. Nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike.”
It’s concerning, especially in light of Mike’s recent admission on his “Hotboxin” podcast that “my expiration date is coming close, really soon.” This statement caused a stir in the world. What do you think? For further updates, stay tuned to Thirsty.
