Future has established a foothold in the industry with his back-to-back efforts. His popularity has grown soo much that Fans attempt to reach the rapper in any manner possible. In terms of platinum albums, at least, Future has surpassed Drake as the most successful rapper to emerge in the 2010s.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded the Atlanta rapper a remarkable 55 new certifications. The list included platinum discs for his 2017 album HNDRXX and 2018 Wrld On Drgs collaboration with the late Juice WRLD. In comparison to Drake’s seven albums, Future now has eight that have the potential to reach platinum status.

US Certifications (@RIAA): @1future, HNDRXX Platinum (1,000,000; album).

US Certifications (@RIAA): @1future & Juice WRLD, WRLD On Drugs Platinum (1,000,000).

Additionally, each of his nine studio albums has sold at least one gold copy. Pluto, EVOL, Future, and Hendrix’s What A Time To Be Alive collaboration with Drake are among the other platinum-certified albums in his discography. High Off Life and DS2 each recently achieved a second and third platinum certification.

Even while it hasn’t received a certification from the RIAA, last year’s Certified Lover Boy technically topped one million sales in the U.S. in September, only weeks after its debut. Since then, the record has sold over 2.5 million copies. The 2010s rappers J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD, and Travis Scott are also in the race for most platinum albums.
