Rapper JayDaYoungan Shot Dead In Louisiana Hometown

The life of a rapper has its pros and cons, as it is never smooth sailing for anyone in the world of hip-hop. While there is certainly a lot of money and fame that comes with being a rapper, there is also the risk of gang warfare that ends in their deaths. That happened again recently.

According to TMZ, Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan, real name Javorius Scott, was fatally shot Wednesday in his hometown of Bogalusa, Louisiana. Police received a call just before 6 PM on Wednesday night for a shooting at a home on Superior Avenue.

It was said that one victim had been transported to a local hospital and was critically wounded. He rushed to the hospital for treatment and the hope was that he would pull through.

Unfortunately, that did not happen, as police officers stated that the young rapper succumbed to his injuries and passed away. He was only 24 years of age. This is truly another tragic story in rap music, one we did not wish to ever cover.
