NFL rookie Jordan Davis plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and was a first-round draft pick in 2022. The 22-year-old signed a four-year, $17 million contract to play on the team as their defensive tackle. In addition to being a star player for the Eagles, Davis is seemingly a fan of Rick James.

The young football star impressed his teammates with a rendition of Rick James’ “Mary Jane.” The song was part of the 1978 album Come and Get It! Davis can be seen signing his heart out as his teammates clap along.

The video was caught on Thursday when the young rookie hit the stage at the Eagle’s training camp at Lincoln Financial Field. Davis’ performance starkly contrasts Jalen Hurst’s rendition of Frankie Beverly And Maze’s “Before I Let Go,” which received primarily boos two years ago.

“Mary Jane” has appeared several times in movies and on television. The song was even included in the 2006 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. You can check out this most recent rendition below.
