Chris Rock Mocks Oscars Incident After Will Smith Apology Video

Will Smith caused quite a stir when he slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards ceremony earlier this year. Even after Smith recently released a video apology in which he specifically apologized to the comedian, Chris Rock did not directly respond to the actor’s apology. However, he did continue to make jokes about the infamous Oscars incident.

According to CNN, Chris Rock said that if everybody claims to be a victim, then the real victims will lose their authenticity. Rock further said that he went to work the next day even after getting smacked by “Suge Smith.” A man has to stop whining and go to work to look after his kids.

If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith … I went to work the next day, I got kids. Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.

During his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the Oscars ceremony, the actor said he was “fogged out.” The comedian’s family also received an apology from the King Richard actor. Will Smith appears to be regretting his actions a great deal.

The actor has endured severe repercussions as a result of the Oscar affair. The Academy activities are likewise off limits to him for ten years. Watch the video of the heartfelt apologies below.
