Fans of Chadwick Boseman mourned his tragic passing away in August 2020. Boseman’s unfortunate and untimely demise left many to wonder about the future of one of his best known performances: the titular Black Panther in the 2018 Marvel movie. Black Panther 2 is happening, and now fans might have a spoiler from an unlikely place.
It now seems that fans of the movie might finally have some answers, albeit from an unlikely source. The “Wakanda Forever” LEGO set seems to confirm what some fans have been guessing at for a while now. Beware of possible spoilers ahead!
The LEGO set features the character Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, in the new Black Panther suit. It is safe to say, then, that Wright’s character Shuri, who was sister to Boseman’s T’Challa, will be taking on the mantle of Black Panther in the upcoming movie.
In addition, Marvel has released a sneak peek at the upcoming movie in the form of a new, sombre teaser, featuring a version of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” The teaser is clearly mourning the loss of Boseman.
The end of the teaser features a new Black Panther suit, which this new LEGO set pretty much confirms, will be worn by Shuri. Check out the following below.
