Tyrese Gibson Calls Out Hypocrisy Over Reaction To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock

The Oscar Awards ceremony this year became memorable for all the wrong reasons. This is because Will Smith shockingly slapped Chris Rock following a joke about Smith’s wife. Tyrese Gibson also called out the hypocrisy over the reaction to Will Smith’s slap.

Chris Rock will also not forgive Will Smith after what he did and continues to address the slap even now.  Rock even previously said that he wanted money to talk about it, which led to 50 Cent making an amusing joke about the situation.

Will Smith has been banned from attending the Oscars for the next 10 years. Will Smith finally apologized for the slap, almost four months after it happened.

Tyrese Gibson took to his Instagram and commented on Will Smith’s post, where he wrote a very lengthy message. He also called out the hypocrisy over the reaction to Will Smith’s slap.

“After 3 months [ as so much other STUFF has happened in the world ] he’s been paused and put in mental, emotional and traumatic prison ] because when you actually CARE for people and how you effect them from your WORDS and CHOICES you lose a LOT of sleep over those very mistakes,” wrote Tyrese. “Will Smith if you see this message big bro the real ones out here love you and have never ever stopped loving you because we know you are HUMAN.

You def broke the internet…. But if Suge Knight had slapped someone at the Oscar’s it would have been in the blogs for 3 days and been over,” said the actor, adding that because of Smith’s untainted reputation, the situation was made a bigger deal than it had to be. “You’re my forever and ever hero and I thank you for growing up in REAL TIME and showing us what it’s like to be the BIGGEST MOVIE STAR in the WORLD and then showing us ALL that’s you’re HUMAN and make mistakes too.”

Will Smith’s apology was also believed to be too little, too late as well. Netflix pumped break on the upcoming projects in which Smith was involved. Regardless, Smith will never do such a thing ever again.
