Lil Durk Injured At Lollapalooza After Getting Hit In The Face By Onstage Explosive

Rappers have been presently battling onstage violence. Kid Cudi was smacked in the face with a water bottle at Rolling Loud Miami, forcing him to abandon his concert early. Lil Durk has now been through the same experience, but at a different festival.

According to Hnhh, Lil Durk suffered minor injuries after being hit in the face by onstage explosives on Saturday. In the video, the rapper, who was performing at Lollapalooza, walked across the stage unassumingly and is hit straight in the face by two pillars of smoke. Durk abruptly halted his performance and covered his face with his t-shirt.

The music immediately stopped, and someone spoke into the microphone, asking, “Woah, Woah- you alright bro?” He didn’t react, and the guy added “It shot straight up.” After a few more seconds of silence, Durk spoke into the microphone, “F*ck it, no more smoke, let’s do it,” before launching into another song.

Saturday was a major day at Lollapalooza, with J. Cole, Big Sean, YG, and Blxst performing. Denzel Curry, Yung Nudy, and The Kid LAROI are among the prominent names set to perform on Sunday. Lil Baby, Jazmine Sullivan, Still Woozy, Pi’erre Bourne, Maxo Kream, Sampa the Great, and others performed on Thursday, while Machine Gun Kelly, Dua Lipa, and Cordae performed on Friday. So far, Durk is the only injury to report.
