Ne-Yo Wants To ‘Work Through Challenges’ After Wife’s Cheating Allegations

Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Smith, renewed their marriage vows in April. Things however took an ugly turn when Ne-Yo’s wife Crystal Renay said in an emotional statement that her husband cheated on her. Ne-Yo has now reacted to the allegations levelled against him.

Smith recently took to social media and shared a post, alleging that her husband, Ne-Yo, is still cheating on her. Renay also requested her social media fans to “stop sending” her videos or information regarding his alleged infidelity since “what he does is no longer my responsibility.” Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, responded to Renay’s allegations in a Twitter statement.

For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums. I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time.

The native of Arkansas and Renay previously renewed their vows to one another in a Las Vegas ceremony earlier this year. They separated over two years ago. The couple has three children together, Roman Alexander-Raj, Shaffer Chimere Jr. and Isabella Rose.

The two almost divorced back in February 2020, but now it seems they might finally be over for good. We’ll have to see what will become of them. You can check out Ne-Yo’s tweet below.
