Tom DeLonge left the iconic pop-punk band Blink-182 back in 2015. Since then, a lot has changed. Bassist and co-lead vocalist Mark Hoppus battled cancer. DeLonge and Hoppus finally reconciled their differences. Now, Tom has given a big hint that he’s re-joining the group.
DeLonge recently updated his Instagram profile. Keen-eyed fans quickly noted that Tom included Blink-182 in his bio. Many believe this is a hint that he is once again a member of the band.
The social media bio could just be referring to Tom DeLonge’s past body of work. However, given his contentious history with the band, it seems like a positive sign. Tom could once again be ready to return to Blink.
“I make music (@blink182 and @angelsandairwaves) and films (@tothestars.media), and at TTS I work alongside a few spies and a very important physicist.”
Current Blink-182 guitarist Matt Skiba recently told a fan that he is unsure if he is still in the band. Combined with Tom DeLonge’s recent update, the pieces seem to fit. It looks like a Blink-182 reunion is in the offing.
No official announcement has been made. There could be news coming shortly. It looks like at the very least, Tom DeLonge has buried the hatchet completely with his former band.
