Dev Patel Stops Knife Fight Between Man & Woman In Australia

English actor Dev Patel is well-known for his work in “Slumdog Millionaire,” “Lion,” “The Green Knight,” and other films, He recently intervened in a knife fight between a man and a woman in Australia when no one was seeing and stopped it. However, he didn’t seem to seek recognition for his bravery.

Patel recently got into action when the cameras weren’t rolling. According to 7 News, Patel found himself between a couple who were fighting. Witnesses claimed that this man and woman were engaged in a furious argument at a gas station or convenience store.

Despite attempts to separate them by others, they persisted. Dev reportedly got involved at that point when the woman allegedly used a knife to stab the man in the chest. It appears that whatever he did to separate them prevented things from getting worse, and he remained on the scene to speak with police later.

It appears the man is fine, because he was brought to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. In the meantime, police detained the woman. Dev should be accepting all the accolades he can right now, but he doesn’t seem to desire much recognition for what he did.

His representative told 7News that there were “no heroes” in this story. They said that the incident just brought attention to a problem that the government isn’t addressing with the locals but which seems to be related to mental health.
