Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in tragedy, which resulted in the deaths of 10 people after the crowd could not be contained and fans were crushed. More than 300 other people also suffered injuries. Now Travis Scott is back to business as usual.
Several months after the tragedy, Travis Scott continues to get a lot of flak because of the incident. In fact, he was under fire from Astroworld victims after he stopped a recent concert.
According to Page Six, Travis Scott will be performing on a huge stage almost a year after the Astroworld tragedy. Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas announced on Monday that he will be playing seven shows at their venue starting next month.
Road to Utopia will be “a mind-bending, first-of-its-kind nightclub residency experience” and certainly a great opportunity for Travis Scott in general.
“Travis Scott was a seamless fit for the Zouk Nightclub roster. His electric performances will pair perfectly with our immersive atmosphere, bringing our guests an unmatched show unlike anything else they can find in Las Vegas.”
Travis Scott is still facing a slew of lawsuits that will still hang over his head for a long time. Regardless, he’ll certainly be happy to finally be able to perform properly again.
