Drake has been involved in mega project after mega project since he broke into the music scene. A new DJ Khalid video with Lil Baby is getting a ton of attention, and Drizzy decided to share some candid snaps from the experience.
On Friday, the megastar was featured on a new track and music video, “Staying Alive” along with its official video with DJ Khaled and Lil Baby. The release serves as the lead single off Khaled’s album God Did, which was announced back in July.
“I’ve been blessed to get so many great calls every day from all my peers, ‘Yo Khaled, I love your rollout,’ this and that. I told ’em, ‘Listen, I haven’t even started my rollout,’” he said Thursday in an Instagram video. “But today we start. Tonight we start. Right now we start.”
Khaled went on to hype “Staying Alive” as the “song of the year” with the “hook of the century.” Now that’s boasting confidence right there.
We represent the future of medicine,” reads the hip-hop hospital’s “mission statement. Our surgical residents are at the top of their class, our highly decorated doctors are at the top of their fields, and our equipment is simply put—state of the art. We are here to ensure that you are always #StayingAlive. We’re here to do GOD’s work.
Khaled has worked with Drake and Baby on a number of hits, including “I’m on One,” “Popstar,” “Greece,” “No New Friends.” “Every Chance I Get,” “You Stay,” and more.
