Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce proceedings are still ongoing. However, according to recent reports, Ye’s fifth divorce lawyer has officially quit.
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye held a conference to determine the trial date for their divorce on Friday in L.A. Samantha Spector, the current divorce lawyer for Ye, had previously requested that the judge to remove her from the case, claiming that her relationship with Kanye was irreparably ruined, though she did not specify why.
Spector had a date scheduled for next week to formally withdraw, but on Friday, the judge approved her request. Thus, she is no longer involved and Ye is once more without an attorney. If Kanye loses everyone, Kim will likely receive whatever she wants when the case is heard by the judge in December.
Kim received a divorce decree in March, making her officially single. However, there are still a few matters to be resolved, including custody and property, which the judge is currently addressing.
According to sources close to Kim and Kanye, the duo is quite getting along despite the ups and downs. This was evident at their children’s sporting events and family get-togethers. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
