Morgan Wallen signed with Big Loud in 2016, and his debut album, If I Know Me, was released in 2018. Jeezy, on the other hand, debuted as Lil J in 2001 with the release of Thuggin’ Under the Influence. Morgan and Jeezy recently enjoyed a beer on stage in front of some very happy fans.
Wallen has been on the road for quite some time. However, his most recent show may go down as one of his favorites for more than one reason. It’s because he not only welcomed one of his heroes, but they also enjoyed beers together.
Morgan actually tweeted back in 2012 that Jeezy was one of his favorite musicians, so it was kind of a full circle moment for him. After the event, the two talked about music backstage. Jeezy has clearly been listening to Morgan’s music, raving about his song “Whiskey Glasses” and saying, “that was my sh*t.” So he’s obviously a fan.
According to TMZ, Morgan’s ‘The Dangerous Tour’ stopped in Atlanta over the weekend, where he was joined by Jeezy. The rapper’s “Put On” blasted through the speakers while Morgan and fellow country artist Hardy shotgunned beers on stage. Jeezy poured a shot, so he got his drink on, too.
Fans were certainly having a great time at the event. Let’s see what they have in store for us next. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
