The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller is one of the most highly anticipated films in the DCEU, and it will also feature Ben Affleck’s Batman on top of that. However, the film’s lead, Ezra has been consistently wrapped up in controversies throughout 2022. Now it appears, amid all the legal issues, Ezra reportedly did multiple reshoots for the upcoming solo DCEU movie.
Ezra Miller made a name for himself thanks to his role as The Flash in the DCEU films. Despite all of his success, Miller is also a controversial person for his actions and views as well. The journey for Miller’s solo-movie, however, has not been an easy one, as the project kept losing directors and screenwriters.
It wasn’t until IT filmmaker Andy Muschietti boarded The Flash that the film actually went into principal photography, which wrapped in late 2021. While The Flash movie was delayed from November 2022 to June 2023, Miller’s legal situation has only gotten worse over the last few months. Despite the concerning headlines, they have seemingly still been participating in additional photography for The Flash film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller took part in the regularly scheduled reshoots over the summer.
Although, exactly how much extra footage Miller shot for The Flash wasn’t revealed. The filming did take place amid the ongoing controversy. THR‘s report does bring up that, while The Flash is still on track for its June 2023 release date, insiders say “the studio is evaluating all options.” This report about The Flash reshoots comes less than 24 hours after Miller was charged with felony burglary by Vermont State Police.
The Flash and Fantastic Beasts star is set to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division on Monday, September 26th, for arraignment. So far, Warner Bros. Discovery has not commented on Miller’s numerous run-ins with the law in 2022. Keep an eye-out on Thirsty for more updates.
