Young Thug is facing major prison time after being arrested on RICO charges relating to organized crime. Prosecutors are treating his YSL collective as an unrelenting gang. Thugger is now hit with additional charges related to gang, drugs and gun.
Young Thug already had a case against him that worried his supporters. However, a recent WSBTV report reveals that the rapper is in even more legal danger. We have consistently reported on the RICO case involving the rappers Thugger, Gunna, and twenty others who the prosecution claims are members of the same gang as the artists.
In reports, authorities have identified Young Thug as a suspected leader who was making street calls and claimed that the group was responsible for thefts, assaults, and even murder. In the meantime, the accusations against Thug and Gunna have been vigorously refuted, and their legal teams are working hard to establish their innocence.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office apparently filed a new indictment, and the rappers are still detained after being denied bond. A fresh indictment allegedly names Yak Gotti in addition to the rapper. Thugger is accused of engaging in criminal street gang behavior and conspiring, but this new accusation “includes all 28 defendants from the May indictment and still focuses on YSL, an organization allegedly founded by Williams and two others.”
The only defendants named in the latest accusations are supposedly Thugger and four others. According to WSBTV, the rapper “now faces a new gang charge, new drug charges, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a machine gun.” The accusation of using a machine gun will also be added against two additional suspects, one of them is Yak Gotti.
