The Game is certainly one of the most established rappers in the world of hip-hop. He is highly successful, but it wasn’t always that way for the rapper, as he lived through the harshness of poverty as well. 50 Cent shut down a claim by The Game recently as well.
On the other hand, 50 Cent is certainly one of the most influential names in the hip-hop world. His brand value is a lot, as he has his name in many mediums outside just music.
Fans are well aware of the ongoing beef between The Game and 50 Cent, as it has been going on for the past 17 years. The Game wanted to face 50 Cent in a Verzuz, but that has not materialized yet.
While speaking on The Breakfast Club, 50 Cent discussed how involved he was with writing songs on Documentary. 50 Cent then went on to shut down The Game’s claim that he wrote ‘What Up Gangsta.’
“[Game] said he wrote ‘What Up Gangsta.’ I’m like, ‘C’mon on, bro. You wasn’t even around when we did that. That was before you even came into the picture… We didn’t even know who he was until after.” As to why The Game might be lying, 50 guessed, “There’s a point when you [reach] desperation and you’ll say anything.”
The Game also claimed that 50 Cent paid him a lot of money to not say G-Unot. The beef between The Game and 50 Cent is unlikely to end anytime soon by the looks of it as well.
