The Dallas Cowboys are in a bit of a tough spot. A right foot fracture has put their wide receiver James Washington out of commission. It’s likely that Washington won’t be back on the field for another 4 to 6 weeks.
However, not all hope is lost, as it seems that someone has come to the rescue for the Cowboys. Antonio Brown, who is currently a free agent, has expressed interest in filling in for Washington.
With Washington as well as Michael Gallup, both injured, the Cowboys currently have just one player to fill the position: CeeDee Lamb. However, that might change if Brown’s wishes come to fruition.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, brown stated that he wants “Terry Jones to call [him].” Brown, who has recently been focusing more on his music, also expressed that he misses being on the field.
However, Brown seems to be okay with the idea of football not working out for him. After all, if his plans of joining the Cowboys doesn’t work out, he’s still got his music to fall back on.
