Byron Allen is no doubt one of the most extremely successful people in Hollywood. He has accomplished much, but he never stops striving for more. After losing the Broncos bid this year, Allen seems pretty confident about buying the next available NFL team.
TMZ spoke with the TV mogul when he was out in Beverly Hills, just a few days after he officially lost his bid to purchase Denver’s NFL franchise to Rob Walton. Allen said that he’s “highly confident” he’ll “get the next one.”
That being said, Allen also stated that he isn’t sad about the loss at all. In fact, Allen joked about losing out on the $4.65 billion deal.
“When you lose to the richest family in the world, it’s not a bad day in the office.”
Allen said he’s already focused his attention on the next available team, explaining that the Broncos sale hasn’t discouraged him. “Buying an NFL football team is a process, and we had the pleasure of being a part of that process,” Byron said. He went on to further state his confidence.
“We didn’t get this one, but I’m highly confident we’ll get the next one.”
Allen stated that owning a team is really important to him and that becoming the league’s first Black controlling owner is his key objective. He praised Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell for providing him with the tools he needed to one day achieve his goal. Allen also added that he’s in no rush to give up on his dream.
