Hollywood Life reports that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that Anne’s death is officially listed as an accident. According to documents, she suffered a “sternal fracture due to blunt trauma” that was a “significant condition” for her following the fiery crash.

In addition to the new information, there was another reason. Heche also died due to smoke inhalation and thermal injuries, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner also confirmed.
