Drake is beloved by millions, but it’s impossible to keep everyone happy. Recent remarks from Kid Cudi sparked some attention, and the 6 God’s fans now have a response.
Kid Cudi is well-known for making headlines for various reasons. He recently said some extremely intriguing things during an interview with Esquire. Cudi discussed how his connection with Kanye West has completely broken down.
Even if Cudi thinks Kanye is in a horrible situation right now, it’s still hard to forget what happened, especially amidst the Pete Davidson story. In other words, it’s unlikely that these two will ever be friends again.
“With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s about to take a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their beef is squashed. That’s not me. What I say, I mean. I will be done with you. It’s gonna take a motherfucking miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He gon’ have to become a monk.”
Some people were confused by Cudi’s mention of Drake, but Cudi is clearing up any confusion. Cudi stated on Twitter that he has a great deal of love and respect for Drake and that he never intended to belittle the well-known musician.
Kid Cudi reached out on Twitter to publicly clear up his comments.
“Just to be clear, I wasnt tryna throw a shot at Drake. I got love 4 him. My point I was tryna make is that im not so forgiving. Meaning he might be a lil nicer than me in that situation w dude. Thats all. Maybe that came off wrong thru my words. So yea, all good w Drake.”
