Young Thug has been involved in a 56-count RICO case for a while now. It now seems that the rapper has been denied bond yet again, now for the third time.
TMZ reports the verdict regarding bond was given in an Atlanta courtroom this Thursday. Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, tried to make a case for the rapper, claiming that he was willing to comply with a 24-hour home confinement.
In addition, Steel also claimed that the prosecution was creating a false narrative by using 2014 lyrics as evidence. However, Steel’s appeals were evidently not enough to move the judge.
The prosecution, too, does not seem willing to back down at all, claiming that Thug is the “General” of the entire YSL regime.
Young Thug has been behind bars since he was arrested back in May, and has been denied bond three times since. It seems likely that the rapper will remain behind bars at least until January.
