Anne Heche tragically passed away following a terrible car crash. Many people around the world are mourning her loss, some by remembering the times they spent with her.
Fans have been revisiting Anne’s podcast in her memory. As a result, a clip from an old episode of her podcast has resurfaced. This recently re-surfaced clip includes Anne talking about Ellen DeGeneres, where she gave a warning to the former talk show host’s current partner Portia de Rossi.
Page Six pointed out that Anne did not seem to have very nice things to say about Ellen or Portia de Rossi. In fact, the actress stated that she had warned Portia, Ellen’s partner, about dating Ellen.
“I warned Portia. Portia even asked me about Ellen before she came to my wedding [to Coleman Laffoon], and Portia even said, ‘I’m gonna go after Ellen.’”
It seems that Anne was of the opinion that dating Ellen would not help Portia attain stardom, and that Portia would never be the “poster child,” claiming that Anne had already taken that position.
Anne also compared Portia to a Porsche, quite unfavorably, stating that “Ellen drove a Porsche … and then she married one.” It certainly seems like Anne was harboring bitterness towards Portia.
