T.I. Admits To Punching A Chainsmokers Member For Kissing Him

T.I is well known for both his temper problems and his propensity to stir up controversy. The kissing incident that happened a few days ago must be well known to fans. Finally, T.I. has now admitted to punching a Chainsmokers member incident for kissing him.

AllHipHop reported that T.I. has finally acknowledged the punching of Drew Taggart, a member of The Chainsmokers incident. T.I. addressed the situation in which he punched Drew Taggart as a result of a kiss.

T.I. backed up the claims made by the electronic DJ duo, which also included Alex Pall, that the rapper swung at one of them after being kissed without his consent. Drew described the onstage incident in a TikTok video, which prompted T.I. to respond with a TikTok of his own.

“There’s really not much more to the story than you’ve already heard. I think the most important thing to take away is afterwards, we had a drink, we took a shot, you dig? You know what I’m saying? And we moved on.”

“You know, everybody left the party, had a good time. Like I said, love The Chainsmokers – not to get no sugar, though.”

Before acknowledging that the punch was appropriate, the Grammy winner Taggart explained that he kissed the Trap Muzik rapper because he was “feeling the vibes way too hard.” Drew explained his version of what happened in his video.

“T.I. just literally punched me in the face. We were in a vibe and I was, like, I gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was totally my fault. He was like, ‘Don’t do that,’ and I was like, ‘OK.’ And he pushed me off and I was like, ‘All right, my bad.’”

“He punched me in the face and I was like, ‘OK, I’m sorry.’ And he was like, ‘All right, cool. We’re good.’ It was the weirdest interaction ever.”
