Actor Jason Mewes and director Kevin Smith are better known as the comedy duo Jay and Silent Bob from the latter’s 1990s and 2000s comedies. They are also Ben Affleck’s co-stars who appeared with him in several cult movies. The famous duo reconnected at his second wedding to wife Jennifer Lopez in Georgia.
On August 20, the ceremony was held in Georgia, more than a month after the couple’s official wedding in Las Vegas. Mewes and Smith are apparently the creator of the couple’s nickname “Bennifer.” They were all dressed in white, just like the other wedding guests.
Even Monsanto’s Instagram Story selfie with Jason had the comment, “All white everything.” Smith posted a group selfie on social media while wearing a baseball cap that was worn backwards, a blazer, vest, T-shirt, and shorts.
For those who say ‘He always wears the same outfit…’ @JenSchwalbach, @JordanMonsanto, @JayMewes & me, all cleaned up. This is as formal as I’ve been dressed since maybe my First Communion when I was 7.
Affleck appeared in numerous of Smith’s cult comedies, including Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, Jay, and Silent Running, as well as the 2010 movie The Town, which he directed, co-wrote, and starred in.
