Azealia Banks Calls Nicki Minaj ‘Overweight’ & ‘Boring’

Azealia Banks is notorious for criticizing other musicians and celebrities. The New York native previously called Beyoncé a “creep” who “watches everything she does.” She also called Queen Bey out for “pretending” to support Black artists. Banks isn’t finished chasing clout and ruffling feathers, and now she has her sights set on another high-profile name in hip-hop.

The 31-year-old seems to be in a better mood this week, because she had some good news to share about the production of her own reality television show. She vowed that her personality would come through on the small screen. “FINALLY, people get to see the real me: an asshole.”

Azealia Banks didn’t give many specifics about what viewers may anticipate from the next production. Prior to that declaration, though, Banks felt compelled to disparage Nicki Minaj. She said that Minaj is terrible to work with, overweight and boring.

I was supposed to start filming a reality show last month. But apparently Nicki gave the network an ultimatum because she knows I’ll have better ratings… And now they all hate her and think she’s ghetto, terrible to work with, overweight and boring.

The “212” singer revealed that she had three other offers on the table, and based on her joyful Instagram Story that followed, it appears that one of them was accepted.
