Dana White Making Plans For Colby Covington’s UFC Return

Colby Covington made a name for himself as one of the most despised heels in the UFC. He is also a huge pro wrestling fan, as Kurt Angle can attest to. Dana White is also making plans for his return, so Colby is a busy man.

The rivalry between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal is something many MMA fans know well by now. The two were once close friends and trained together at the same place. However, they eventually started hating each other.

Covington was last seen in his UFC 272 fight against Masvidal, where Covington outclassed Masvidal for the win. Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington were involved in a fight at a Miami club after their fight. Masvidal was arrested on aggravated assault charges as well.

While speaking at “Dana White’s Contender Series” post-fight press conference, the UFC President confirmed that he is making plans for Colby Covington’s return to the UFC.

”Yeah, Colby wants to fight. He’s ready to fight, and we are making plans for him here soon.”

We will have to wait and see who Colby Covington will end up facing off against next. He rallied for a fight with Dustin Poirier, so perhaps he might end up being Covington’s opponent. If anything, Colby Covington will keep drumming up controversy which will hopefully bring him even more cash.
