Kylie Jenner is no stranger to being the center of attention. The fashion mogul is accustomed to grabbing headlines, but this time, it’s for the all wrong reasons. Recently, Kylie was smacked into controversy after a reporter deleted a viral TikTok video of her and Kylie Jenner taking a photo after fans accused the reality star of having a bad “attitude” in it.
Prior to being deleted from her account on Thursday by Refinery29 producer Alexa May Rhodes, the popular TikTok video had had hundreds of thousands of views. A day earlier, fans blasted the 25-year-old “Kardashians” star for not appearing “happy at all” when she posed with Rhodes at the Ulta Beauty launch of Kylie Cosmetics’ Lip Kits in Los Angeles.
Jenner did not appear to make eye contact with, look at or even speak to Rhodes for the few seconds it took to snap a picture together. Rhodes captioned the since-deleted post, “Interviewed the one and only @kyliejenner tonight what a time,” likely not anticipating at the time that the video would stir up controversy.
Fans flooded the comments section to point out Jenner’s behavior in the brief video. One wrote, “She didn’t even look at her or acknowledge her…” while another speculated, “she just looks like she trynna get it over with.” A third viewer quipped, “Kylie’s ideas of charity work grr.”
Meanwhile, the Kylie Cosmetics founder has not publicly addressed the backlash nor has Rhodes explained why she deleted the viral post. We’ll have to see if Kylie tries to explain her seemingly “bad” attitude.
We’ll have to see if Kylie wants to pay any attention to this situation, because she’s very busy making money. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
