911 Call Released Of Nappy Roots’ Fish Scales Shooting Incident

Nappy Roots is an alternative Southern rap group. Fish Scales & Skinny DeVille, B. Stille, and Ron Clutch round up the group. Scales was shot, kidnapped, and robbed in front of an Atlanta brewery recently, and he has now revealed the terrifying details.

According to TMZ, Fish Scales of Nappy Roots is recovering from a gunshot wound after being kidnapped outside his own restaurant. Now, 911 audio and police records reveal the horrific scene he escaped. Scales was leaving his Atlantatucky Brewery Company with his friend, Britt Robinson, to get food, according to police documents obtained by the outlet.

Scales went outside to check on Robinson after he was delayed for several minutes outside. Scales told police that is when an armed robber confronted him, pointed a gun at him, and demanded cash before forcing him back inside the brewery.

Robinson was still outside when he contacted 911, telling dispatch that multiple suspects took his gun and house keys before going after Scales and demanding he open the safe inside Atlantatucky. Robinson claims he saw the shooter on the phone throughout the crime, maybe searching for clues as to where the money was located.

When the robbers returned with Scales, they were adamant about going to acquire more money despite the fact that the cashless brewery only had $20 to $30, and they knew Scales’ address. Scales said that after getting into the car, the robbers asked to enter his home, and the second suspect Tasered him in the back of the head.

Scales ultimately chose to escape the vehicle after pleading in vain when the first suspect got out and started wrestling with him, stating, “I don’t want to hurt you.” During the physical battle, Scales was struck in the left calf by a single gunshot. Scales started running, and he ran far enough to realize he wasn’t being pursued.

The Nappy Roots rapper then went to the nearest house, knocked on the door, and requested the residents to contact the cops. Scales reportedly told officers that he dealt with a disgruntled employee less than a year ago but couldn’t remember his name. He also believes one of the robbers was attempting to mask their voice.
