Mixed Tag Team Match Pitched For The Rock At WWE WrestleMania

The Rock is sports entertainment’s most electrifying personality. With a legendary career behind him and still being in top shape, he can make a WWE return whenever he wants. This is why fans want to see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the ring once again.

Roman Reigns is his most likely contender at the 2023’s WrestleMania 39 according to rumors. The match is even talked about in The Rock’s show “Young Rock.” In the show, he tells a young Roman Reigns a match between the two is too big and is only possible at WrestleMania.

The Rock is fated to fight Roman Reigns at some point, but there’s another match that is possible for him. WWE announcer and former WWE Head of Talent Relations Jim Ross has other suggestions in mind.

Ross proposed on his “Grilling JR” podcast that The Rock can definitely get in a tag team match of a large scale alongside his daughter Ava Raine. The 20-year-old is yet to make his debut and is still learning the ropes at the WWE Performance Center.

Here’s the thing, I could see Rock having a mixed tag with his daughter at WrestleMania, I can see that. Now, there will be naysayers that will knock that idea, which is fine, that’s expected. But that’s a safe [option], it’s a way to get him on TV, get his name and her name and image in the promotion.

The Rock’s daughter Ava Raine reacted to criticism over her promo back in July. With the regime change in WWE, The Rock could see interesting booking angles whenever he chooses to come back.
