Taylor Swift has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn for the past several years now. They are private about their relationship, even at award shows when they attend. However, Alwyn wasn’t with Swift at her latest award outing at the MTV VMAs.
According to Page Six, Swift arrived at the Republic Records after-party around midnight, the exact same time she announced her forthcoming 10th studio album, aptly titled “Midnights.” She had a table in the Fleur Room at the Moxy Chelsea hotel, where the party took place, but there was no sign of Alwyn.
“Taylor celebrated with her group [at the table] but mingled with all party guests,” an insider tells us, noting the pop superstar sipped on cocktails and Ace of Spades champagne.
“Nicki Minaj arrived a few hours later and took some pictures with Taylor on their phones after running into each other in the hallway,” the source adds.
Minaj was honored at the Video Music Awards with the coveted Video Vanguard Award and partied into the night by drinking Don Julio and eating burgers. Among others at the party included Sabrina Carpenter, Becky G, and Blackpink member Rosé were also in attendance. Yung Gravy was solo after packing on the PDA with Addison Rae’s mom, Sheri Nicole Easterling.
Who knows what went down between Joe and Taylor? Clearly, it’s not our business to speculate about the relationship. We’ll find out eventually if one of them confirms the matter.
