The UFC developed into a multibillion-dollar global phenomenon under Dana White’s leadership. Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva is set for October, and the fight has some buzz building. Recently, UFC President Dana White reacted strongly to the Jake Paul vs. Anderson fight, and he dragged the Problem Child in the process.
According to MMA Junkie, Jake Paul and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will box in October. Dana White recently gave his thoughts on the matchup.
White described the battle as a “genuine fight” for Paul, who has a 5-0 boxing record that includes victories over ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and former Bellator and ONE 170-pound champion Ben Askren.
“I don’t give a sh*t, do you know what I mean? If he’s really fighting Anderson Silva, and that’s true, it’s about time he’s got a real fight on his hands there. Regardless of how old Anderson is, yeah, that’s a real fight.”
Later, White was approached about The Problem Child once more. However, the UFC president stated unequivocally that he is done talking about the social media sensation.
“Stop asking me about Jake Paul, you guys. I don’t give a sh*t what Jake Paul does. I know you love this sh*t, and I know it gives you clicks, but come on. Come on.”
“The guy has nothing to do with my business. He has nothing to do with my business. He doesn’t fight for me. He’s not even in the same f*cking sport as me. I don’t want to talk about him anymore.”
Although no date or location has been set, Paul’s promotion organization, Most Valuable Promotions, claimed in a tweet on August 27 that his next boxing battle will be announced “next week.”
“Next week we will announce JAKE PAUL’s next opponent. @jakepaul will almost certainly be the underdog. He knows that and he wants that.”
Jake Paul’s bouts are banging on the door one after the other. However, Dana has stated that he is no longer interested in the discussion. What are your feelings about the impending fight? Stay tuned to Thirsty for more information.
