Teen Mom fans are used to hearing about the show’s stars getting into trouble. Now, one of the Teen Mom star’s fiancées has been arrested on Identity Theft and Grand Theft charges.
According to The Sun, Zach Davis, the fiancé of “Teen Mom” star Cheyenne Floyd, isn’t going into his September 29th wedding with a clean slate. In October 2018, the MTV celebrity was charged with a number of crimes. It included identity theft and grand theft. Davis was accused of opening a cell phone account in the name of someone else.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s office described what happened to the outlet. It appears that they used a Verizon Wireless cell phone account to do the deed.
On the date of the indictment, suspect Davis opened a new Verizon Wireless account and purchased a cellphone from the cellular phone booth located inside the Walmart. Suspect Davis provided the salesperson with the victim’s information.
Davis was charged with one count of grand larceny and five counts of false impersonation and cheating. Davis pled no contest to the grand larceny charge in September 2019 and the five counts of identity theft were dropped. After being found guilty, a judge sentenced Davis to 32 days in jail and three years of probation the following month.
Davis was charged with DUI in January 2020 and a series of theft charges in 2015. On “Teen Mom,” Floyd and Davis have never discussed his legal problems. Even after his arrests were publicly known, they remained silent about the situation. However, they couldn’t keep them quiet forever.
Davis’ legal issues were brought to light after he was arrested at LAX in January 2022 after returning to the US on a trip to Mexico with Floyd. He was detained after US customs agents found he had outstanding arrest warrants for violating probation in his theft and DUI cases.
The Teen Mom star is slated to appear in front of a judge on October 20, 2022, to answer for his arrest on January 3rd, 2002. We will keep you informed. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
