Kim Kardashian gets a lot of attention, and this time her Photoshopping fail was called to public attention in a big way. Spencer Pratt even dragged her over it. Now, Bethenny Frankel is weighing in on the situation.
According to TMZ, when it comes to editing photos, Bethenny Frankel claims that no one can keep up with the Kardashians. She accused the family of using photoshopping so frequently that it has become a detriment to “regular” women. She expanded on her recent statements against photoshopped social media posts in an interview with the outlet in New York, and she went nuclear on the Kardashians.
Bethenny claims that Kim, Khloe, and Kylie are making American mothers feel bad about their natural bodies. She added that they accomplish it by using their fortune to pay for cosmetic surgeries and hiring professionals to edit their pictures in such a manner that people compare themselves to unattainable beauty.
She went on to say that the Kardashians’ social media profiles are gradually leading people to believe that what they show is an authentic representation of women’s bodies. According to Frankel, the more people who see the edited photographs, the more the lines blur. Bethenny believes the practice is not inspiring or motivating for millions of mothers who are self-conscious about their bodies.
She clarified that this is not an anti-Kardashian rant, but rather a serious issue, and she is concerned that the edited photos may cause her 12-year-old daughter to develop an eating disorder or become depressed. Bethenny shared some photoshopped images on social media in order to shed light on what’s going on with celebrity accounts.
She said that it took her a whole day to complete the photo editing. Bethany has no problem with makeup and wants others to feel comfortable with themselves.
Finally, she urged celebrities to be open about their plastic surgery and to avoid portraying filtered and artificially polished images as natural moments. Let’s see how the Kardashians react to this. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
