Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have been feuding since he gave an interview to a UK tabloid last summer talking about Britney and the kids. This interview worsened misunderstandings between Britney and her children. It was recently reported that Britney has not seen her kids for six months.
According to TMZ, Britney Spears may want to take a break from social media if she wants to see her sons anytime soon. Sean Preston and Jayden James haven’t seen their mother in six months, and there’s no indication of reconciliation in the making. Kevin Federline, their father, revealed it to the sources.
The boys were especially irritated after Spears called them out in an Instagram post last month for being “hateful” toward her. Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told the outlet that the statement she made might be used against her in court.
While I will not comment on whether there were or were not regular custodial exchanges, one must consider that the comments about the boys such as those that were recently published hardly create a pro-custodial environment. This is something that the parties involved will have to work out over time.
Britney addressed her sons in a post again on Thursday in response to Jayden’s interview, in which he claimed Britney paid him more attention than Preston. She also posted on Friday, abruptly revealing in a rambling message about her collaboration with Elton John that Preston was angry because she had shared something about him online against his wishes.
Finally at 40 without the restraints of what my family did to me … I say to my son Jayden that I send all the love in the world to you every day for the rest of my life!!! My love for my children has no boundaries.
He stopped seeing me … I posted something of him, but he got really mad so unfortunately, I haven’t been able to post my loving family.
Last month, Kaplan stated that Britney’s boys are uncomfortable around her, and Kevin shared some videos of Britney disciplining the boys when they were in her care. New clips from the interview will air on “60 Minutes: Australia” on Sunday. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
