Mark Zuckerberg is known for being one of the most perplexing figures in the tech world. He shocked the world when he announced that Facebook is going through a massive rebranding. He changed the company’s name to Meta with the announcement that their core focus would be the metaverse.
Zuckerberg is apparently also practicing his MMA chops. The Meta CEO took to Instagram and posted a reel of himself performing a myriad of moves during an MMA training session.
The Instagram reel showed Zuckerberg taking on Khai Wu. He revealed in the caption that Wu is making his MMA debut later in the day. Wu was set to take on Joshua Dillion on Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 5.
One of my training partners, @khaiwu, is making his debut on @ufcfightpass tonight. Looking forward to a great fight.
Mark Zuckerberg’s reel aroused comments from many figures in the MMA community. The UFC’s Joe Rogan had a very notable reaction, as he took to the comments and expressed his happiness.
This is great! I’m so happy to see this. Training looks solid too!
Zuckerberg’s training session also received positive comments from the UFC, Conor McGregor, UFC 135-pound champion Aljamain Sterling and UFC Bantamweight star Sean O’Malley. While the Meta CEO might not be in the octagon any time soon, it seems he’s making impressive progress in his training regardless.
