50 Cent remains one of the most influential rappers in the history of the hip-hop world. The legend made a name for himself in several mediums such as games, movies, books, and more. 50 recently thanked Eminem after his Super Bowl Emmy win after Slim Shady brought him aboard as a surprise addition to the show.
At the 2022 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, the all-star hip-hop extravaganza took home three honors, including Outstanding Variety Special (Live), Outstanding Music Direction, and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special (Area). After receiving his first Emmy for the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show, 50 Cent praised Eminem on social media.

When the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium in February, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige joined 50 in performing on the Super Bowl stage alongside Marshall Mathers. Also, Eminem reportedly told JAY-Z, who assisted in planning the halftime show as the NFL’s “live music entertainment strategist,” that he wouldn’t perform at the Super Bowl without 50 Cent’s involvement.
