Kanye West dragged a top Adidas executive online for allegedly trying to destroy the Yeezy brand and that surprised fans. Ye got support from a lot of people including Swizz Beatz, who called for a boycott of the massive clothing brand. Now another celebrity has joined Ye’s crusade against Adidas.
Sean Combs, better known by his stage name P. Diddy, took to Instagram on Tuesday and showed support for Kanye West amid his ongoing feud with Adidas. The Bad Boy Records founder posted a screenshot from what appears to be his conversation with Ye as well as an image of Adidas product with an X-mark on them.
Since the era of Run-DMC, @Adidas has always used Hip Hop to build its brand and make billions off of our culture. BUT WE ARE MORE THAN JUST CONSUMERS NOW, WE’RE THE OWNERS. @KanyeWest and YEEZY are the reason Adidas is relevant to culture. WE KNOW OUR VALUE! I’m done wearing Adidas products until they make this right!! We have to support each other!! Everybody repost this please!!
Kanye West targeted Adidas creative director Alasdhair Willis as well. Ye claims his Yeezy brand is being hijacked by Adidas and that some of their top officials are trying to push him away from overseeing Yeezy.
The “Flashing Lights” rapper has previously shifted his focus toward Gap after he seemingly squashed his beef with Adidas. We’ll have to wait to see what Ye has in mind for Adidas next.
