Kodak Black is certainly one of the most controversial rappers in the hip-hop world. Black has recently called out NBA YoungBoy’s manager, Alex Junnier, claiming that he had stolen his plan ahead of the rapper’s 30-city tour.
The city tour with Quando Rondo is scheduled to begin in Chicago. Lil Durk, a rival of YoungBoy’s, and the late King Von, who was shot and murdered in 2020 after a confrontation with Rondo’s group, both reside in the city. Kodak claimed that NBA Youngboys’ manager stole his idea to start their tour in a city where they are not allowed to perform.
According to Kodak,
“They tried to tell a n***a I couldn’t come to — I forgot what place that was — I made that my first stop on the tour. YB’s manager used to be around me so he know how I go, he know how a n***a operate — that’s why they made that their first stop.
They know that’s my type of shit. ‘Oh yeah, they can’t come here? First stop!’ … There could be smoke, but you ain’t finna tell a n***a he can’t come nowhere because I gotta pick up checks over here.”
Black might be referring to his own 2019 Dying to Live Tour, which, as HipHopDX reported, began in New Orleans, close to YoungBoy’s hometown of Baton Rouge. Since 2017, Black and YoungBoy have been involved in their own dispute.
YoungBoy will be promoting both his most recent album, The Last Slimeto, which was released last month, and his most recent mixtape, Realer 2, on his forthcoming tour. Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest updates.
