Savage now says that he wants all the evidence from his arrest in 2019, claiming that the officers had no right to stop him in the first place.

According to newly revealed legal documents obtained by the outlet, 21 Savage’s team filed a motion to prevent prosecutors from using any of the evidence collected after stopped.
Savage’s team stated that when law enforcement pulled him over in February 2019, he was doing nothing wrong and that the stop was unlawful. However, officers previously alleged that when they pulled 21 over, he threw codeine and his keys out of the car. Regarding the firearm discovered in the car, 21 claims that “there was no illegality for the weapon to be in the car.”
Nevertheless, the rap star was charged with drug and gun possession and Is facing deportation back to the UK, where he was born. The case is ongoing for years, making it tough for the rapper to navigate. Despite this, 21 found time to perform at the Rolling Loud and Breakaway festivals this year.
