Tommy Chong Trolls The ‘Non-Stoner’ For Not Making Weight At UFC 279

Tommy Chong is famous for his marijuana-themed Cheech & Chong comedy albums and movies with Cheech Marin. He inspired a generation after him, those who are fearless about their love of weed, such as Nate Diaz. Chong recently trolled the ‘non-stoner’ for not making weight at UFC 279 when Diaz had no issues.

Khamzat Chimaev was recently in serious trouble trying to make weight for UFC 279. He missed weight by 7.5 pounds, not a small amount. Tommy Chong capitalized on the situation and took to Twitter to address non-stoners failing to make weight. He also mentioned Nate Diaz, who is known for openly smoking cannabis.

UFC 279 was going to see Nate Diaz face Khamzat Chimaev in Diaz’s final match for the company. However, Chimaev was pulled from the match after failing to make weight. He will now fight Tony Ferguson instead in his final fight.

Conor McGregor also gave huge props to Nate Diaz recently for accepting a fight at the last moment. Tommy is well known for playing the character Leo on Fox’s That ’70s Show. He became a naturalized United States citizen in the late 1980s. Check out Tommy’s tweet below.
