Chris Jericho made metal go mainstream with pro wrestling fans thanks to his band Fozzy’s hit single, Judas. The song has been his AEW entrance theme, which has further skyrocketed its popularity. Now, the song recently got featured on the popular Netflix series Cobra Kai.
Jericho is extremely happy about it. He took to Instagram in order to thank Cobra Kai as well as Paul Walter Hauser’s Stringray for featuring the song and rocking out to it for the whole world to see.
Thanks to @cobrakaiseries & the gossamer tones of my bro @paulwhausergram, for including #Judas in the new season of #CobraKai!! The reaction and feedback to #Stingray’s solo has already been through the roof!! @fozzyrock @netflix
AEW and Cobra Kai seem to have a working relationship right now, which AEW fans are liking a lot. Jericho was previously mentioned on the show during its third season to everyone’s surprise. He got referenced during the show’s fifth season as well.
Cobra Kai star Martin Cove also appeared on AEW programming earlier this year. ‘Judas’ being featured on the show is the next step in this constant back-and-forth between the two shows. Stringray dropping by on AEW Dynamite looks like the next best thing, though we never know.
