Swae Lee Seeking Joint Custody Of His 1-Year-Old Daughter

Swae Lee is noted for his wide vocal range and genre-bending. Swae is one half of the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd with his brother Slim Jxmmi. Swae Lee recently revealed that he has a one-year-old daughter and that he is now seeking 50/50 child custody.

TMZ reports, that Swae Lee has a one-year-old child and has filed for joint custody in a Los Angeles court. Swae had a daughter with Brazilian model Aline Martins in 2020, according to court documents. He filed in July and will seek joint custody of Angel, who is one year old.

All of this was discussed by Aline in an interview with Brazilian Times last year. He wants to be present as a father, but it seems there is some pushback from the baby mama.

I would like him to give love and be a present father, but I won’t be humiliating myself either. I think my daughter doesn’t deserve that.

The conflict is unclear, but Swae’s motivation for moving to court is that he wants a real relationship with his daughter. This involves sleeping at his house and spending a significant amount of time with her. He also wants a holiday schedule.

According to the outlet, the purpose of filing court documents is to establish ground rules before a problem arises. Swae has been paying Aline for the child, but she claimed last year that she was $15k in debt due to expenses, prenatal care, and rent.

Swae’s current girlfriend, Victoria Kristine, recently shared photos from her baby shower. “Our little wild one is on the way,” she captioned the gender reveal. She made her first pregnancy announcement in August and they’re having a boy. Samantha Spector, Swae’s lawyer, stated that he takes his role as a father very seriously.
