Cardi B Gives Closer Look At Her First Face Tattoo

Cardi B is well-recognized for her aggressive flow and candid lyrics. She is, however, a very caring mother who adores her children. Cardi recently proved it by revealing her face tattoo.

During an Instagram Live session on Saturday, September 10, Cardi B revealed a close-up of her first face tattoo. Wave is the name of her son, as indicated by the tattoo. The light red ink on the side of her face spells out Wave in cursive.

The name of her first kid, Kulture, is also written in script on her arm, but in a darker shade of ink. The Grammy Award-winning rapper teased the ink last month but didn’t reveal the finished product until now. “You want me to be ugly so bad, but I’m not,” she said.

Cardi B, who already has multiple tattoos, hinted at the face tattoo in a pair of tweets in January. She wrote at the time, “Random but…. I’m 1% close too tatting my sons name on my face. I really really wanna do it!” On August 14, tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos uploaded a video of himself inking Cardi’s newest piece, as well as another photo of the mother of two posing for a picture with him. The tattoo was visible yet unreadable.

The 29-year-old rapper joins the ever-changing roster of artists with face tattoos, which includes Post Malone and Drake. In August, the OVO Boss got a tattoo of his mother’s initials under his left eye. In an Instagram post, Drake later confirmed the initials were for his mother, Sandra Graham. Post Malone, on the other hand, has several face tattoos but for a different cause.
