Roman Reigns’ ‘Acknowledge Your Daddy’ Shirt Gets Attention On ESPN

WWE Shop released a new Roman Reigns shirt with the words “Acknowledge Your Daddy” written across the front back over the summer. It’s a reference to a promo Reigns delivered on Austin Theory shortly after Vince McMahon’s departure from the company, saying he’s Theory’s “daddy.” Now the shirt got some major mainstream exposure. 

Current ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky appeared on Monday’s edition of First Take and announced he’d be wearing that shirt every time he appears on the show during the ongoing NFL season. Stephen A. Smith took an immediate shot at Orlovsky for the shirt,

Reigns actually responded on Twitter. He was simple and to the point of the whole situation.

Gotta believe it to achieve it.

We’ll have to see if this little plug for WWE merchandise helps sell any extra t-shirts. It certainly can’t hurt things.
