Jenelle Evans has finally returned to Teen Mom after several months of speculation. This time her appearance on the reality TV show has brought her to complain a lot about her husband, David Eason.
Jenelle Evans appeared on the MTV Teen Mom spinoff Teen Mom: The Next Chapter on Tuesday night. It was the first time since she was let go from the franchise in 2019. Fans were expecting a slurry of drama on her arrival at the show however, nothing happened.
The 30-year-old mother of three showed up for Briana DeJesus’ party to celebrate her defamation case victory over co-star Kailyn Lowry. Teen Mom 2 star Jade Cline was primarily the focus of the controversy around Jenelle’s attendance at the event. She took Jenelle’s place on the reality show after she was dismissed.
While Evans had no issues with either Briana or Jade, she did vent about her problems at home with her husband David Eason. She revealed that she and her husband are not getting along well recently. Jenelle confesses that the tension between them arises from David being unemployed.
“Life’s been good, well not really. Me and David, we haven’t been getting along lately. I mean, it’s just on and off and it’s just the fact that — I don’t care if I share this with any of you either — it’s just the fact that he doesn’t — which everyone knows — he doesn’t have a job and I’m sitting here providing for everyone for years and it’s still the same way. I’m so fed up and I’ve been giving him the cold shoulder, not talking to him. We text to talk now and he’ll be on the other side of my land in his shop. [5-year-old daughter Ensley’s] home with me 24/7 — she’s not in daycare so she’s with me all the time — and I’ve told David, ‘I need a break.'”
Evans is “fed up” trying to provide for the family while also taking care of the kids and needed this break. However, her “break” at Briana’s was just momentary since the morning following the party, she left for the airport. She defended the other cast members of the show before concluding that she thought Jade was “awesome.”
Even though the span of her appearance at the show was short, it felt like a welcoming phase on Teen Mom. This might be the key moment that can let to her being cast permanently on the show once again. If nothing, fans would love to feast on the drama her inclusion will bring.
