Tory Lanez’s long-running case appears to be coming to a resolution shortly. Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 night incident prompted her to take rapper Tory Lanez to court in September. Now Prosecutors issue a subpoena for Tory Lanez’s trial, Megan Thee Stallion’s friend Kelsey Harris to let the case take a new turn.
Tory Lanez’s continuing legal struggle is still being played out in court and in public. Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet in 2020. Lanez was eventually apprehended, and another hearing for the assault/firearm case was held this week.
According to Rolling Stone, Nancy Dillon, the most recent hearing revealed some interesting information. Megan’s former friend Kelsey Harris (aka Kelsey Nicole) was reportedly present at the court hearing. Prosecutors may later force Kelsey to testify in the future.
“Outside Tory Lanez hearing now. Waiting to see what will happen with [the] trial date. It could start today, but [the] judge [is] involved in a different trial, so it would have to be sent to a different courtroom. Another continuance possible.”
Nancy rushed to Twitter on Wednesday morning to make a remark about the trial. Later that day, Nancy Dillon returned again to the social media site to comment on Kelsey Harris’s attendance in the courtroom.
“Kelsey Harris is here. She is being ordered back as a witness being called by prosecutors. Ordered back Dec. 9.”
