Tom Brady is going through a difficult time. His life has been plagued with dilemmas on both the professional and personal fronts. This time, reports have emerged stating that he is living apart from his wife, Gisele Bündchen.
The relationship between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen is so bad that they are currently separated. According to CNN, Brady and Bündchen are “living separately” and are experiencing “marital” problems. When the 45-year-old Bucs quarterback mysteriously skipped 11 days of training camp, the couple’s problems became apparent.
Gisele recently spoke with ELLE Magazine in an interview. She acknowledged that her husband’s return to the football field had given her “concerns.” She also told the magazine that she wanted Brady to “be more present” in addition to wanting Tom to retire.
“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion discussed his years of sacrifices in a recent episode of his podcast with Jim Gray. Since 23 years ago, he hasn’t celebrated Christmas or Thanksgiving. People he cares about whose birthdays fall between August and late January haven’t had him join and celebrate them.
“I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born from August to late January. And I’m not able to be at funerals and I’m not able to be at weddings.”
Brady and his wife Gisele have come head to head against such a hurdle. Both are responsible for affecting each other’s life, and an individual’s opinions and decisions are to be shared inevitably. Although a rift in their mindset has part them apart, we hope that this separation is transient.
